Neil Hunt and Trina Littlefield have worked with flowers most of their adult lives. Partners in business and in life, they founded their San Francisco floral studio, Hunt Littlefield, over a decade ago.

Their work draws on influences from nature and architecture to create unique and evocative experiences for their clients. Inspirations include many days spent wandering in nature, years of travel to forgotten and unforgettable parts of the world, nurturing other people’s gardens as well as their own, carpentry and construction, and a family history of landscaping and horticulture dating back five generations. This combination of inspiration, instinct, and hands-on experience gives them a distinctive approach to their craft.

Despite their decades of experience, they feel that good design is not just about their own self-expression. It is about working together with clients to discover their taste, explore possibilities, and create an event that is reflective of who they are as a couple or a company. Their work is authentic and sincere because it is about people rather than chasing trends. They prefer to create a path rather than follow one.

Hunt Littlefield has since grown to include a diverse and gifted team who share their vision and commitment.  Their work focuses on the San Francisco bay area, the wine countries of Sonoma, Napa, and the central coast, but they have traveled nationally and internationally.
